DESCRIPTION:  8-1/2”H; 10-1/4”W; partial impressed mark on foot ring of base reads “H. Burgess”. Also an impressed “14” on both base and lid. Some crazing on base. Circa 1865.

 

[Yes, this is a chamber pot, but it has gorgeous 3-D embossing of the pattern everywhere, even on the rim of the pot!!! This is truly the most beautiful chamber pot we have ever seen!]

Base has 3-1/2” internal line with some discoloration which is seen on center of bottom both inside and out and does leak with liquid in it.
